The Cope “ Matteo “by Maranatha Lab is a sacred vestment handcrafted in a woven fabric .

This structured fabric gives an important fit to the sacred mantle.

The Cope is a liturgical vestment from ancient origins which consists of a large cloak with one rear shield, reminiscent of the ancient hood that adorned it; it is almost to the foot long, open at the front and fastened at the chest with a clasp. It is worn by presbyters on solemn occasions, especially during the Eucharistic blessing solemn.

The cope, from classic cut , is embellished on the vertical edge bands by an embroidery in gold with stylized cruciform symbols that evoke the crosses of Malta . The same embroidery is applied to adorn the rear shield.
